Round up of the experience

I would like to share with everyone my rounding up of the time I have spent at Sunderland University. As my hand in date for everything I have left is Wednesday it's scary to think that on Wednesday I am no longer a student. What am I supposed to do now? Get a job is the answer my dad would say straight away, no doubts about that one. I'm looking forward to stepping out in to the big bad world and I'm probably looking forward to it than most people because all I can say about my 3 years at Sunderland University is that they have been...interesting to say the least.

I have had that many problems with that place it is unreal, although I have had some really good times as well which can sometimes make up for it. I am lucky in the fact that I had some fantastic PR tutors, they made up for the fact that the business ones were so bad! I can safely say that my time on my PR course was a lot better than my businesses classes but then again who is to say i would know my very good friend Nadia if i had not of taken Marketing.

My saying is everything always happens for a reason. It's my little motto of life, I sometimes don't understand it fully but I live by it. I believe I took marketing so I could meet Nadia and no other reason because there are no other positives to it. If i had to do it all over again though I would choose single honours PR.

I've not had the best time at university and there was a point in my first year when I was ready to walk out of there and never come back, but I had my friends to keep me there and I'm sure many a time I had been in Phil's office telling him I wasn't coming back then he would give me the pep talk and I'd be OK again.

The best bit about the whole experience was making my friends and having the PR tutors I did, because without them I would have not finished my 3 years. I'm proud of myself and what I've achieved from university. Sticking it out is the best accomplishment for me, because I really was leaving every other week.

So it has its good and its bad points but it's all over now! Yey! I can start earning some good money and putting everything that I have learnt in to practice and I would like to thank the PR tutors for everything they have done for me, and I would especially like to thank my friends, thank you for keeping me in that place and making me stick it out!

Good and Evil is how the earth is balanced! and how I managed to get through Sunderland University.

Guilty pleasures

Everyone has them! Guilty pleasures are our little secrets that we hide from the world and love more than anything. My pages confess some great guilty pleasures of mine but the best guilty pleasure of yesterday was that i went to see Shayne Ward!!! I was the most excited person there, I LOVE him!

How pretty is he!!

When I read through the pages of my sketchbooks I realise that I do write down some random stuff but I also write down anything that I'm looking at that moment in time. I was looking through one page and randomly seen the word care bears just written there with no explanation and that's probably because I collect them. I used to have them when I was younger and now when I can afford to I go on eBay and buy a lot. I'm sure if my mam ever found out about them all my life would soon be over!

Can you see my other guilty pleasures on this page? And no I don't have the obsession with baby food that would be my best friend, (of nearly 19 years now) Rachel Best. I can see a band on there I am mad about, 2 of my favourite programs and an activity I love playing in my social club.

The best guilty pleasures though are the one's that you can share with someone. I'm a hopeless romantic and I love being happy! I also love being with my friends and drinking my usual drink of vodka, which is why one of my favourite quotes is on there.

You need to have those sneaky things that you love because it makes you unique and I would love to see if anyone would like to confess any of their own guilty pleasures?

Sex and the City excitement!!!!!

Ok so I am a huge fan of films and I am a huge fan of Sex and the City so you can probably guess how excited I am to see it! Those 4 women are amazing and I'm sure we will all agree that Samantha was the reason most of us decided to take pr as our chosen professions, I know i did!

With all of the hype around this movie I keep up dated with msn's blogs as loads of people love to comment on their thoughts.

I have also drawn up a page of all the films I have recently seen and would love to know if anyone else has seen these and what you thought.

National Treasure 2, 27 dresses, P.S I love you, the bank job and the gameplan.

Lyric Game!

So because Julez and Angie took inspiration from me I decided to play the lyric game and in my defence I have a very good range of music!

I think my favourite lyris on the page is from the salmon dance by the chemical brothers hehe!

Graduation Dress!

So as part of my free time I love to design clothes! It's become a love of mine but unfortunately I can't make them so i have sketchbooks full and full of clothes. My favourite thing to draw is beautiful dresses and lucky for me I get to buy one for my graduation ball on May 30th! I am so excited to go but I have to really knuckle down now. Stop all the fun.

I'm only going to get to go once and my dress is going to be amazing, although like the last picture I don't think I should be dressing as Sleeping Beauty hehe.

Bands, Bands, Bands....

So once all of this crazy university stuff is over I will be celebrating by going to see one of my favourite bands, The Pigeon Detectives! I missed them at Leeds Festival last year, which reminds me I still need a ticket for this year, because I went to see Panic! At the Disco instead. There are just somethings you have to sacrifice for the greater good. This year will be my third year in a row at Leeds and I love it because they have all my favourite bands and some to be discovered and it is the best 5 days of the year. As well as all the bands I get to see I get to go camping with my friends and just have a nice chilled out weekend lying in the sun, ah heaven!

I wish I had learnt sacrificing when it came to getting all this work started. I have an exam in a few hours time and I know nothing on the subject because i hardly ever went to class because of my night shift. Not a good idea.

One thing I am never without though when I revise is my ipod and that's when I get out the sketchbook to start writing down every lyric I can possibly remember or the one's that stand out the most. My ipod is an extra limb just like my mobile phone, I can't go anywhere without it.

Lyrics mean alot and in some cases people live by them. I have a range of favourite lyrics and you know where they all end up.

Usually a really good album I'm listening to can end up on a whole page just like my simple plan one. They are an amazing band that have so many songs that i can relate to when i'm feeling 500 different things.

Music is something I could never live without, wherever I am i'm always singing and dancing and I can gaurantee if I make it out of this exam in one piece I will certainly be singing and dancing later. Wish me luck!!

Friends!

I was thinking after my youtube day instead of revising, about my friends. They're all special (and i use the term loosley) in their own little ways.

I have my closest set of friends who are all my best friends, then you have the usual close friends, then moving out of circles again to the ones you see now and again and then there are the one's who you've known for years but never ever keep in touch with unless something random happens or a coincidence occurs.

There are hundreds of quotes on the internet you can search for but there are those special one's that remind of you of things you've been through or what those friends brought in to your life.

Photo's from my facebook or my myspace show what we exactly get up to but i can leave that to the imagination, i'm sure a load of silly photo's of me and my friends are not what other people would be interested in!

And photo's are the best way of remembering who you do lose. Unfortunately easter was not a happy time for our family as we lost someone really close to us, worse still he was one of my brother's best friends and we will miss him dearly! Mainly the reason i have no posts from April because I wasn't myself and didn't draw much in my sketchbook, but i know Ross was an amazing artist and i would have been told off by him if i ever stopped.

We love and miss him loads, R.I.P Ross!!

Distractions

So this is one of the most important times at university at the minute and planning my 'time management' has not gone well at all! I'm busy revising for a corporate strategy exam which i have on thursday and i can't take anything in because the internet has opened so many distractions for me! My worst distraction at the moment, apart from facebook, is youtube!

I'm constantly watching Jeff Dunham, He's a comedian from America and i love it! My friend Mark (Journalism student who's as lazy as me) told me about it and made me watch it and i love it!

A lesson to learn when your reaching the last ever week of university...don't mess around on youtube and facebook! Get your work done in time.

Another lesson, listen to your friends they can give you some good advice!
